Iris offers convenient and cost-effective shared rides throughout Kansas City, Missouri. The city has been divided into service zones for improved access to your community, though you are not limited to your particular zone. With Iris, you have the freedom to explore the entire city. Regardless of the trip you take, the maximum distance you'll have to walk to or from your pick-up or drop-off point is just 1/4 mile.
Iris operates 24 hours a day, ensuring availability whenever you need it. Rider fares are $3 for trips within your designated zone, $4 for travel to another zone, and $10 for travel to and from the airport. Trips that connect you to RideKC bus services at specified transit centers are free of charge. Iris by RideKC is accessible to all individuals. Our vehicles can comfortably accommodate up to five passengers. If you require a wheelchair-accessible trip or need space for a bicycle, simply select the corresponding option when booking.
Paying for rides on Iris is hassle-free. You can conveniently pay through the app or in the vehicle using a credit card. Alternatively, you have the option to purchase ride credits to be added directly to your account.
